Few words ...
The Coupe Ès-SENS Ferrières, an annual event first held in June 2016, is the first international student competition on their joint knowledge of œnology and gastronomy. Its vocation is to promote the transmission of knowledge and know-how throughout the generations in these fields and to enhance the French culture and lifestyle.
Two qualifying team rounds
Two tasting sessions per team of three people focusing on wine pairing: the teams will be evaluated on their comments between the wines tasted and the foods that will have been brought to them at the beginning of the session.
An individual theoretical test
An individual theoretical test: candidates will be judged on their knowledge in œnology and/or gastronomy! It determines the winner of the individual round and its associated prize.
A final round
During the final, the three best teams of the qualifying stages are gathered around a test of harmony between a fine met cooked by the chef of the Château de Ferrières, the MOF Patrick Juhel , and a dozen wines. It determines the winner of the Coupe!
